Shin Ji-yoon (신지윤), also known by her given name Jiyoon (지윤), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. She was one of the lead vocalists and lead dancers of the girl group Weeekly, as well as a songwriter, lyricist, arranger, harmonizer, and guitarist.
On June 1, 2022, Jiyoon officially left Weeekly to focus on her mental health.[1]
She made her solo debut with the release of her first single, "Yellow Light", on April 9, 2024, now under her new stage name Yoonie (유니).

Life and Career
Shin Ji-yoon was born on March 2nd, 2002 in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Her family consists of herself and her parents.
2017: MIXNINE
In October 2017, Jiyoon became a contestant on the survival show MIXNINE. She was eliminated in the show's tenth episode after ranking 44th place.[2]
2018: FAVEGIRLS
On October 24, 2018, she was revealed as the fourth member of FAVEGIRLS.[3]
2020–2022: Weeekly
On May 11, 2020, her profile photo for Weeekly was revealed.[4] The group debuted on June 30 with their first mini album We Are and its title track "Tag Me (@Me)".
On June 1, 2022, IST Entertainment announced that Jiyoon had withdrawn from Weeekly due to health issues.[1]
2024: Solo debut
On April 8, 2024, Jiyoon announced on her Instagram that she would release her debut digital single "Yellow Light" on April 9.[5]

Health
On August 1, 2021, Play M Entertainment announced Jiyoon would be entering a hiatus from all group activities due to reoccurring stress and anxiety.[6][7]She made her full return on December 15, 2021.[8]
On February 28, 2022, IST Entertainment announced that during the album preparations for "Play Game : AWAKE", Jiyoon reported great tension and anxiety. After in depth conversations with Jiyoon, her family, and a specialist it was decided that it would be best for her to focus on treatment and recovery. Which means she will not be participating in the upcoming promotions for the album.[9]
